Attention Critical water User / Health Care Provider:
A top priority of the Village of Delta is the protection of public health. As such, we make every effort to provide a continuous supply of quality drinking water to all customers in our service area. Uninterrupted water service is especially important to health care facilities providing patient care and rehabilitation services, and residents with serious medical issues. In the event of planned and unexpected water service interruptions, the Water Department will attempt to notify such health care providers and residents as quickly as possible as conditions allow.
If someone in your facility or household has a medical condition that always makes it Critical to have water, please contact us for a form and return it to the Village of Delta, 401 Main St., Delta, OH 43515, as soon as possible. You will be added to our critical water users list.
Please know that the inclusion on this “critical water user” list is not a guarantee of notification – as some water emergencies may occur without warning. Unplanned water service disruptions can be caused by main breaks, valve failures, loss of electrical power, etc. Because some water service interruptions are unplanned, it is imperative that critical water users are adequately prepared for such emergencies. Please ensure that you keep a supply of water on hand to meet your facilities needs in the event that water supplied by the Village of Delta is temporarily unavailable. For planning purposes, we recommend a 48-72-hour supply of water.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the Village of Delta Water Treatment Plant at 419-822-4143, or if you are unable to physically leave your residence, we will come to you and pick up your information.
Respectfully,
Jammie Flores
Water Superintendent
